One thing I forgot to mention is that I managed to get backstage and have a chat with Jimi Hendrix.
He was a lot different from how people perceive him to be.
For a start, he was a first class George Formby impersonator. In fact, he wanted to do a ukelele act but his manager pushed him into all the psychedelic stuff.
Who knows? If he'd been allowed to play as he wanted to, he might have really made it.
